This is what I was afraid of. I knew Aqulad was going to get hurt, dammit M’gann…. I don’t care if they’re the vilest villain out there, turning peoples minds into mush is not good. I hope this stops her from doing it in the future.

I really have to commend the artists here, I haven’t seen anyone mention it but look at Kal’s face. The artists manage to capture a lot of emotion in this instant. He looks sad and ashamed and utterly broken. I don’t think its because he was necessarily found out but because he knows that now he’s hurt M’gann. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of what happened, but that’s the kind of person Kaldur is. He is worried about everyone else (Artemis, M’gann, Nightwing and the rest of the team) and those last thoughts are imprinted on his face although he may no longer be able to consciously think.

I don’t watch Young Justice, so I was damn surprised when I caught it on today and discovered that the man under the Black Manta mask was, in fact, the Hottest Man In The Universe.

Who then turned out to be Aqualad. Aqualad. Worst name + worst mentor = coolest guy? I don’t know, maybe it’s like two negatives making a positive or something.
